The Biome team has released Biome v2, a major update to their fast, all-in-one code formatting and linting tool. This version introduces type-aware linting without needing TypeScript, supports multi-file analysis, and expands its ecosystem with plugin support and domain-specific rules (e.g. React, Next.js). It now handles more formats, including experimental HTML support, and comes with improved import organization and editor assists.
